Performance Update + Minor Bug Fix


  • Performance in the later rounds should now be very much increased, or at the very least, not as slow as it was before. I've added a new Doom-style blockmap based collision check system to the game, meaning that turrets and the like will now only check through the enemies within their range to be shot at, not every single enemy in the list which was obviously very slow.
  • The bug where purple explosive enemies would only explode 3 things within their range has been fixed, and they will now explode everything that's around them as they should.
  • The colour of the player character's shadow and bullets has been changed to cyan so you can better determine your position on the screen when it gets a little cluttered in the later rounds.
  • Some new sounds have been added when the player dies and when the gem gets destroyed.
